Nicole Lanoue

Nicole is excited to be joining the EDA team this season and looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students. Growing up in London, Ontario, Nicole danced competitively and studied ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, successfully completing her Advanced 2 examination with Distinction. She furthered her training through professional programs at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and The Quinte Ballet School of Canada, and has had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals including Denise Wall, Mia Michaels, Blake McGrath, and Tyce Diorio.

As a member of The Royal Academy of Dance, holding her Registered Teacher Status, Nicole is committed to providing high-quality dance education in a positive and supportive environment. She earned her Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies through the University of Bath and completed part of her studies at the RAD headquarters in London, England, where she trained with leading instructors and dance educators from around the world.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in both recreational and competitive programs, Nicole is passionate about helping dancers develop strong technical foundations while building confidence, creativity, and a love for the art form. Throughout her teaching career, she has guided students who have been accepted into professional training programs at Canada’s National Ballet School, performed with Ballet Jörgen, and competed at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). She strives to create a classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves, grow as artists, and enjoy the learning process.

Nicole is thrilled to be working with the students at EDA and is looking forward to an exciting and rewarding dance season ahead!
