Nicole Blackwell

Nicole BlackwellStarting her training at the young age of 4, Nicole grew up in the world of competitive dance, training in multiple disciplines with a primary focus on Acro. Nicole has graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with a Minor in Psychology. Nicole is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and NCCP certified gymnastics instructor. In 2012, she was part of the Canadian Show Dance team, competing at the IDO World Show Dance championships in Germany. In her university years, she danced both with the competitive dance team at Wilfrid Laurier as well as participating, instructing and choreographing for their recreational dance program. Nicole now trains recreational and competitive level acro dancers as well as working as a free-lance choreographer for elite-level gymnasts.

Nicole places an emphasis on fun in the classroom, while maintaining a safe, encouraging environment for the students to grow and achieve their full potential. She is very excited to share her passion with the dancers at Element Dance Arts!
