Hayley DeBoer

Hayley

Hayley has been an active member of the EDA family since its inception in 2011. However she stepped foot in a dance studio for the first time at the age of 8, and has been dedicated to expanding her skills since then. Hayley started at EDA as a student, and moved into the assistant teacher program at the studio before becoming a teacher.  Hayley is revered for her engaging and enthusiastic classes.
Hayley teaches students of all ages, but has a special place in her heart for the little ones. With a passion for movement and a dedication to cultivating the joy of dance in others, Hayley is a seasoned dance instructor with years of experience. Specializing in Hip Hop, and Early Childhood Dance Education, Hayley brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every class.  Having trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Tap and Musical Theatre from a young age, Hayley has honed her skills under the guidance of renowned instructors and through performance and competitive opportunities in both local and international venues. Her journey through dance has not only enriched her technique, but has also instilled a deep appreciation for the art form and its transformative power.
As a teacher, Hayley is known for her ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students of all ages and skill levels can thrive. Whether teaching beginners or coaching seasoned performers, Hayley is committed to providing personalized attention, constructive feedback, and encouragement to help each student reach their fullest potential. Hayleys choreography is consistently recognized at competitions for being fun, complex, energetic and age appropriate. In addition to her expertise in dance technique and choreography, Hayley is certified in the Acrobatic Arts Module 1 and the Acrobatic Arts PreSchool Dance Program.  Hayley has travelled to New York City to train at the Broadway Dance Centre, and attended conventions providing the opportunity to work with artists such as Mia Michaels, Tyce Dirorio, Brian Friedman and so much more. Hayley continues to seek out classes, seminars, and workshops so she can continue to learn, ensuring that she is providing the best education for her students, and staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques.
Hayley’s friendly face and positive attitude are admired within the studio – She has become an integral part of the pre-school, recreational, JumpStart and FullTime programs at EDA, and has expanded her role within the studio to include office administration as well.  Hayley is thrilled to be able to share her passion for dance with all of the students and families at Element Dance Arts.
