Alyssa Warren

Alyssa was just four years old when she began her dance journey. Training in ballet, jazz, acrobats, and lyrical, her love for dance led her to join the Eastwood Collegiate Institute Integrated Arts Program where she, under the direction of Janis Price, earned a leadership award for the Kinesis Dance Company and an award for Outstanding Solo Choreography in the Ontario Secondary School Dancefest. She continued to train here at Element Dance Arts throughout high school whilst volunteering as an assistant teacher for multiple classes of diverse age groups and dance genres.Since then, Alyssa has received training with the School of Toronto Dance Theatre and performed in stage works choreographed by Darryl Tracy and Julia Sasso. She has participated in various shows, photoshoots, and videos for professional and emerging multidisciplinary artists in the K-W and GTA regions. Currently, she is working remotely towards a BA in Global Development Studies with Queen’s University.Alyssa is thrilled to join the Element Dance Arts teaching staff and can’t wait to share her love of dance with her students this upcoming year!
