Madison Douglas

Growing up in Cambridge, Madison (Maddy) began dancing at the age of two, exploring various styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, and Hip hop.
She progressed through ballet exams up to the intermediate level with the RAD Syllabus. Madison has enjoyed performing in productions such as Canada’s Ballet Jorgen’s Nutcracker. She also contributed to the Preston High School Dance team as both a performer and choreographer. Madison’s passion for dance earned her recognition with the Love of Dance award from Element Dance Arts in 2015.
Madison’s dedication to learning led her to attend workshops and intensives like the Elite Jumpstart Intensive and Tap Dance Centre Summer Intensive.
Starting her teaching journey in the Assistant Teacher program at Element Dance Arts, Madison gradually deepened her involvement by completing the apprentice teacher program during her graduating year. Now, Madison focuses on teaching classes, choreographing, and leading summer camps!
Alongside her passion for dance, Madison is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Guelph.  Madison is extremely excited to share her passion and knowledge of dance with the students at EDA!!
