Born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, Samantha began dancing at age 6 and trained extensively in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap. She graduated from KW Eastwood Collegiate Institute’s Integrated Arts Program with a Major in Dance and a Minor in Drama/Vocal. Samantha studied dance at Toronto Metropolitan University, and later earned a Psychology degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has completed her Intermediate Ballet and Advanced Syllabus 1 exams with the Royal Academy of Dance.
As a competitive dancer, Samantha earned numerous overalls, awards, and scholarships across North America. She was also a member of the Hamilton TiCat Cheerleading Team, performing at CFL games, corporate events, and the Grey Cup alongside artists like Dean Brody, Alessia Cara, and OneRepublic.
Now focused on teaching, Samantha is passionate about developing confident, expressive dancers and is proud to share her love of dance with the EDA studio family.
