Linnea was born and raised Ontario and has been an active member of the entertainment industry since the age of three. She has had extensive training in all forms of dance and has studied with prominent teachers and choreographers such as Krista Miller and Rebecca
Linnea has many years of experience teaching jazz, lyrical, tap, acro, musical theatre, and contemporary at various studios in the GTA. She has been recognized numerous times for innovative and creative choreography at the competitive level. Linnea’s teaching certifications include an acro dance teaching certification with Acrobatic Arts (AAC2) and is in the process of completing a professional flexibility certification in Alixa Flexibility (AF1).
Linnea’s professional experience comes from a wide background of dance, acting, and gymnastics. She always looking for new opportunities to grow as an instructor and choreographer and attends many conventions such as CDX, JumpStart, Dance Attack and the Toronto Dance Expo
Linnea’s professional performing and choreographing experience includes choreographing and performing for the City of Guelph, performing for a crowd of over 6000+ people at We Day alongside artists such as Nelly Furtado and performing in many local theatre productions. Linnea has also performed and choreographed for the Wilfrid Laurier University’s award-winning competitive dance team.
After many years of teaching and competitive experience, Linnea has branched out into other areas of the competitive dance world through working for Terpsichore as a competition photographer.
Linnea’s students have received many titles and scholarships from well-respected dance organizations across Ontario. Her focus is to develop dancer’s technique while creating a fun, safe environment for dancers to express themselves artistically and develop their confidence both on and off the stage.
